Iranican has a new co-host! Shahed is the youngest co-host on Iranican and joins us for a discussion on Music with guest musician, composer, and singer Hamed Nikpay. What influences do you like in music? What was the first music you listened to? What is fusion music and where is it going?

Hey guys I’m so glad you invited such a great artist to your show. I absolutely admire Hamed’s work and really enjoyed this interview. However, one thing I noticed is that I hear the host’s and the co-hosts’ voice way more than I heard your guest’s voice! In the other word, as much as I understand that you guys should warm up the show and keep the show going, I think your audiences would much appreciate if they could more hear from your guest and his opinion on different subjects.
Just thought you might want to hear some feedbacks on this interview but overall, again truly appreciate your choice of artist and enjoyed listening to this show.

Thank you for tuning into Iranican Live, it is great to hear your feedback. You are absolutely right about the way this show was done. I understand why we must let our guests be the focal point of the show. But here at Iranican, we try to look at our shows in an unconventional way at times, and although our guests are very dear to us, we choose to keep a very open discussion format. Basically each co-host is regarded as a true representation of the current generation of young Iranian-Americans living here. In a given panel we would like for each co-host to share his or her opinions, ideas, and concerns as it could be what’s on many of our listeners’ minds.
This said, you are also an audience and a very valuable voice, so we will definitely take your suggestion seriously and make sure we get the best out of our guests each time we have them with us.
