This show focused mostly on the role of Iranian Celebrities inside and outside of Iran and whether they have been successful. We did not have a chance to get into the following, thus we will keep it on the blog to initiate and continue the discussion about it, should there be an interest in it. Almost 50 days has passed now since the election, and the Iranian buzz in the mainstream media has calmed down for the most part. Of the people who had hopes for a better Iran, some have lost theirs, and others are happy that there has been a shift from extreme and radical actions to logical strategic ones. Most are still more or less following the events and news from Iran more than they would on an ordinary Wednesday the 15th of July, but the main question from the Iranian American perspective has not been fully answered, the question of “What to do?”. Maybe this question will never have a unanimous answer, but it seems like since the dust has settled from the violence, more time and thought has been directed towards analysis on what issues take priority. If the issues are prioritized the “What to do?” question will become slightly easier to answer. A Student and activist and member of the global “Roads to Peace” organization headquartered in Iran will be the guest of Iranican Live and she’s proposing that the number one priority for Iran is to keep it from being redrawn by internal and external forces. Please identify what you think the priorities rest by voting on our poll on the right side of this article. We will also follow up on a brief discussion from our last program, the roles that celebrities play for Iranians.
