On this New year’s eve’s eve, we are joined with B-cubed, the creator of Rostam, an English comic book of tales from the
Shahnameh. As we quickly approach a new decade, our hearts go out to our young brothers and sisters in Iran who are caught in the midst of the current political turmoil. To lighten the mood during the holidays, our last discussion of the year kicks off with the most embarrassing NYE stories, interesting emails from last year’s IranicanLive that coincided with NYE 2008, top ten Iran related events of 2009 in the US, and of course our chat with Behrouz Bruce Bahmani about his childhood experiences as an Iranian-American growing up in Iran and enjoying stories of Super Man, Spider Man, and other American Superheroes. His creative writing skills and passion for comic books brought the birth of Rostam which according to him is the “sexy side of our Iranian literature!”
