Guys,
I just listened to this talk about NIAC and I can tell you they are very well connected to Tehran and their purpose of being is / was to connect Iran and the US where in the process Trita would stand to gain BIG, both financially and politically.
Their counter parts where the Atieh Bahar group, a major consulting firm that offered consulting to international oil firms in Iran.
Now Atieh Bahar has moved it’s operations to Dubai and Vienna.
As journalists you guys need to do your homework better. You wont be able to attract well informed audiences like me with this one sided and shallow reporting on VERY important issues that have an impact on Iran …
What NIAC does is exploit issues that Iranians care about to get support and then uses that support to turn around and make the regime in Iran look more reaonable. They put on a good spin on the regime that they are refomrable. I dont say they are a lobby for the Islamic Republic or get paid but their work and actions work for the benefit of the Regime in Iran (knowingly or unknowingly). The people in the streets trying to get rid of the regime are not getting any help from NIAC that is for sure.

She never answered if they won or lost the case.
This is a good article of why NIAC is not liked in the community:
