Character assassination is a dirty part of politics and in San Francisco, the Iranian American elected Sheriff, Ross Mirkarimi is less than a week away from potentially losing his job because of his misconduct in a conflict with his wife which caused a bruise on her arm.  The decision by the San Francisco Board of Supervisors which he used to serve on, happens next Tuesday Oct 9th.

Ross Mirkarimi helped organize Nowruz Festivals in San Francisco and San Jose, and helped Iranians organize the largest protest of human rights violations in Iran. If you are interested in showing your support, there is a petition you can sign and a rally you can attend in San Francisco next Tuesday.
