HONY (Humans Of New York) originally started a photographic movement when he decided to take meaningful pictures of random strangers in New York, and he became one of our favorite photographers when he decided to take his project to our beautiful country, Iran (click here for the pictures). Our topic this week is this beautiful project and we were even able to speak to Reza, who is the founder of Humans of Tabriz. He tells us why he decided to take this project on, and a little more about who he is.
And our main interview of the week is with no other than TEHRAN (not the city, the half black half persian man we all love). For anyone who does not know, Tehran has an African American mother and and Iranian Father. Being the mix of both these cultures and growing up in America Tehran has embraced his Iranian identity and shares his unique perspective on our culture on his podcast ImPerfect Gentlemen and on his standup comedy tours all over the states. Tehran is also an old friend of Iranican that we love and are sure you will too. Don’t forget to follow us on TWITTER (Here) and listen to our podcast, enjoy our show, send us some love, and don’t forget to “Like” our page on faceBook, and leave us a voicemail at 1-762-BEFARMA (762-2332-762).
