Iranican Live comes to your homes this week with the man whose songs you have been ghering to since his first album in 1985, Andy! Three words that every Iranian American has memories to (and every teenage girl dreads) is “Khoshkela Bayad Beraghsan” and it’s all thanks to Andranik Madadian, or as we call him Andy. He is one of the most loved Iranian artists whose songs “dokhtar irooni” “cheshmaye naaz” and “dokhtare bandar” we all have stories with. Aside from being such an amazing Iranian artist, Andy has also worked in the American music industry with artists like Richie Sambora and Jon Bon Jovi who recorded a version of the Lieber and Stoller standard Stand by Me, that was described by the producer as a “worldwide solidarity with the people of Iran”.
